The Saint Augustine Pirate & Treasure Museum, in conjunction with Cape Fear Parrot Sanctuary, is pleased to announce that author Anna Maria Sophia Cancelli will be at the Pirate Museum courtyard on Saturday, May 11 to sell and sign copies of her latest book, Pirates For Parrots.
Cancelli will be bringing many of the pirates highlighted in her book, as well as their parrot compatriots! Live parrots and pirates will grace the Pirate Museum courtyard – and will feature paintings by “Charlie, the Picasso of Parrots.” His paintings will also be available for purchase.
The fun begins at 11AM, with proceeds from the event going to the Cape Fear Pirate Sanctuary and the Florida’s Galleon Treasures Parrot Sanctuary. Cancelli promises that a bit of pirate treasure will also be given away to select event attendees.
